This really pretty bright bay mare has movement to burn. Extreme type with very fine limbs, Charlie has produced a really really nice refined brown filly for us this year (Penmain Jazz).
Charlie is also dam of Penmain Playboy.

Braemar Seashells
was purchased from the Kolbeach Stud in December, 2004 and arrived with a stunning dark brown filly by her side by Fernleigh Fine Print. Molly is dam of Kolbeach Sands, Penmain All A Glitter and Penmain By Design. Sired by the great Carolinas Cat's Whiskers (imp), Molly stands at about 13.1hh and has just delivered a BEAUTIFUL buckskin filly (Penmain By Design), white star with one white sock by Fairlight Acres Windsine. Molly is in foal this year to Cherrington Demascus for an 07/08 season foal.

The stunningly beautiful Sufton Wild Rose is here and has settled in well at Penmain. I shamelessly admit that the older "girls" are rugged and everybody is grain fed. Rosie looks a treat for the extra special care and both she and Rhonda (Kirreway Rendezvous) are definately happy and contented here and for Rhonda this is especially true at meal times. She is the only mare I know that can guard three feed bins scattered over 5 acres and not let anybody else have any! Rosie is Dam of Blaircourt Crystal Rose (imp) and half sister to Sufton Romany Lore. Rosie has been put in foal this year to Sandbourne Royal Ensign and is due November 1. Rosie is mother of "Penmain Lilly of the Valley" who has been purchased by KS Showhorses in New Zealand

Kirreway Rendezvous
by the immortal Acrobat is also an exciting addition to the brood mare band at Penmain.
Rhonda has foaled a really really cute colt foal by Fernleigh Fine Print (Penmain Posh) which should mature around 13.2 to 13.3 and will be chestnut, "Arnie" so named because of his incredible size at birth was born late October 2006.
Rhonda is in foal to Sandbourne Royal Ensign for a January 2008 foal.
Kirreway Beau (Kirreway Bows) Topsy is right up to height, the quint essential show pony with a fantastic nature who came to us in June 2005 with the lovely Kolbeach Alert by her side. Spider is listed separately. Topsy is a double Rotherwood Acrobat (IMP) cross. Topsy will be covered by Sandbourne Royal Ensign for an 08 foal. Kolbeach Catwalk
purchased at the December 05 Kolbeach sale in Tatura is an exciting addition to the brood mare paddock here at Penmain. By the beautiful Syon Splendour - imp and out of the Stud Book mare Cat Scan, Suzie stands at about 15hh and is in foal to Sandbourne Royal Ensign. She has previously passed on her own huge movement to her babies and we certainly hope this tradition continues with her new baby due early in next years season.
